Product Presentation
Reinforced geotextile is a novel geotechnical material composed of glass fiber (or synthetic fiber) as the reinforcing material, which is compounded with short fiber needle-punched nonwoven fabric.
product features
High tensile strength, low elongation, uniform transverse and longitudinal deformation, high tear resistance, excellent wear resistance, high permeability, and strong backfiltration capability.
Product Function
Reinforcement, drainage, filtration, protection, isolation
(1) Reinforcement stabilization effect: Enables the transfer or distribution of localized stresses acting on soil to a larger area, thereby stabilizing and limiting deformation and settlement in geotechnical engineering structures during prolonged use.
(2) Isolation effect: Geotextiles are used to separate different geotechnical structural materials, creating a defined interface that allows each material to exhibit its inherent properties and contribute to the overall performance as specified in the design.
(3) Protective function: Geotextiles exhibit excellent puncture resistance, thereby providing superior protective performance.
(4) Drainage and filtration effect: Geotextiles allow water permeation while preventing the loss of sand particles. When laid horizontally in channels containing suspended particles in flowing liquids, geotextiles effectively intercept fine sediment particles while permitting liquid passage.
(1) Used for filter protection in retaining walls, road slopes, reservoir dams, earth-rock cofferdams, tunnels, and drainage ditches.
(2) Used for drainage in road slopes, subgrade, behind mountain retaining walls along mountain roads, under railway ballast layers, and between highway subgrade and pavement.
(3) Used for isolation between soft soil and rock masses in construction cofferdams, piers, and slope embankments; isolation and protection between landfill bottoms and impermeable layers; separation between filter media and waste in landfills; as well as isolation and pavement reinforcement between asphalt roads and subgrades.
(4) For layered reinforcement and drainage of slopes in highways and railways, as well as drainage reinforcement for backfill roadbeds and embankments.
